Li Xingyang, male, is a professor with Ph.D. of Literature and postdoctoral experience in the Department of Drama, Film, and Television Arts at the School of Liberal Arts, Nanjing University. He is a doctoral supervisor and deputy director of the Asian Film, Television, and Media Research Center at Nanjing University. He is a member of the Dramatic Theory Committee of the China Film Literature Association, executive director of the China Yangtze River Delta University Film, Television and Drama Society, executive director of the Jiangsu Media Art Research Society, and a member of the Playwriting Committee of the China University Film and Television Society. He is also a member of the editorial board for the Nanjing University Theater Series In the 1990s, he shifted from literary creation to the study of contemporary Chinese literature and is now devoted to the study of drama and film.
