Bao Zhaohui, male, born in 1972 in Linhai, Zhejiang province. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Zhejiang Normal University in 1995, his Master of Arts degree in Literature from Beijing Normal University in 1998, and his Ph.D. in Literature from Nanjing University in 2001. He is currently an associate professor and a master’s supervisor in the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Nanjing University, specializing in the research of pre-Qin and Han dynasty aesthetics and literary theory, Zhuangzi studies, theological aesthetics, and poetics. He has served as the editor-in-chief of Chinese Aesthetics and is currently the executive deputy editor-in-chief of Literature and Image. He has published more than 60 academic papers since his career began.
