He is currently an associate professor in the School of Liberal Arts at Nanjing University.

He received his Bachelor’s degree (2005-2009), Master’s degree (2009-2012) from Nanjing University, and his Ph.D. (2012-2015) from Zhejiang University. He also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Nanjing University (2015-2018) and was a visiting scholar at Harvard University in the United States (2018-2019).

His research focuses on the history of Chinese vocabulary, Chinese grammar, and Dunhuang manuscripts.
